Some games will be released in both multi dvd formats and hd dvd formats if it comes down to a game needing to be that big. I have played over 200 hours of oblvion and that game didn't fill up the disc and it looks amazing. But its a none issue when it comes to disc space and games.
No game has had to do it but multi dvd's is not out the question if needed. And I emphasize "IF" because no game to date. But if needed, it can be done. So disc space is not an issue. And with direct x 10 and xna and superior compression techniques...I don't see needing multi discs for games within the next 5 years.

Saturn failed because it was expensive and it was hard to program for. Dreamcast failed because EA and other big name companies would not support it. And it didn't offer the standard at that time in DVD.

And I definately don't want blu ray. I know what the end result will be with that. Blu ray movies will fail to hd dvd. Price/quality always wins out with most consumers. Not you jin. Not me jin. Most consumers. And blu ray will never match hd dvd price bargain and it isn't even matching quality as of now.
